As you would expect from any major city, Cardiff is packed with a wide array of top class unique attractions from Cardiff Castle to the Millennium Stadium sitting alongside historic buildings and innovative architecture.
In the heart of the city, beautiful arcades still retain many of their Victorian and Edwardian features, and are home to dozens of unique stores as well as the latest St David's shopping centre. Close by overlooking the Bay, is Mermaid Quay, the perfect place for some retail therapy. With its chic, cosmopolitan atmosphere it's the perfect destination for relaxing, partying or personal pampering.
The wealth of waterfront restaurants, cafes and bars with menus from around the world mean there's something for everyone. For great people watching, try the Cafe Quarter and Mill Lane. With plenty of alfresco seating you can sit and watch the world go by. Cardiff's nightlife scene centres around St Mary's Street with its pubs and clubs. Bohemian-style Mill Lane, known as the 'Cafe Quarter', offers everything from bars and clubs to exclusive hangouts.
