Many of the changes introduced in response to the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the UK are impacting weekends booked with Orchid City & Spa. A number of suppliers and venues that we work with have now closed temporarily in response to the government guidance, and social distancing guidelines mean that group weekends away are not currently possible.
Here at Orchid, we understand that the overall situation feels very uncertain for everyone, and we will do our best to ensure the options surrounding weekends booked with us are clear and communicated to you at the soonest possible opportunity.
Our team has moved to fully work from home. This means that we do not have access to our office telephone system, so we are unable to pick up any calls to our main phone number; hence we are dealing with customers on email in the interim.
We are prioritising our communications with groups who are travelling soonest. If you were due to travel in the next few weeks, then we will have been in touch with your group leader already. If you are soon approaching your balance due date then we will be in touch with you very soon to clarify your options.
Our whole team are dedicated to making this as straightforward for our customers as possible, but please bear with us as we work through the necessary steps – we are a very small family run company, and we have had to make a lot of adjustments to deal with the current crisis. No one truly knows how long the current situation will continue for, however we will continue to work hard to support all our customers.
We’d like to also say a big thank you to those customers that we have already been in contact with, for your kindness and understanding of our very difficult situation.
We can not deal with or speak to individual group members. All communications must come through your group leader, but at this point we would ask group leaders to hold off until we contact you.
